Brothers Jake and Dinos Chapman were brought up in Cheltenham then Hastings, and became classic 'enfant terrible' figures of British art after exhibiting in the Sensation show in 1997. Having worked as assistants to Gilbert and George they were never going to be conventional, and several of their works have caused controversy, including 2003's Insult to Injury, in which they altered a set of Goya's etchings by adding funny faces.
